  1. That last one scares me the most.
Tinkerbell is really good. Don't remember Miss Piggy being so well endowed though.
Happy to help with your release!

    1. I didn't remember that, either, Alex. The fact that it's a man underneath all that makes it pretty incredible, though!

  2. I have to agree with Alex, Tinkerbell is really good. Congrats on your upcoming release blitz.

    1. There were a lot of costumes like that, but I liked hers best of all the typical "short skirt/pretty woman" that are everywhere every year.

  3. Congrats on your next release. Those are some pretty bizarre costume ideas, though the Hillary Clinton one comes as no surprise.

    1. She had to spend hours in makeup. Her boyfriend (Orlando Bloom) was Bill Clinton--there are pictures out there of the two of them.

  4. That Clinton costume is too real.....WAY too real.

    1. Katy Perry always goes over the top. She had at least one other costume, too--a 50s school principal.

  5. I love #8...Jenna Fisher's son as Dwight Schrute (The Office) My overall favorite this year though was my grandson who let his beard and hair grow out for six months to dress up as a raggedy Wilson from Castaway...his girlfriend went as the volleyball.

    1. That sounds like a great costume. How fun!!! I loved The Office, so I loved that one of its stars dressed her son up as Dwight!

  6. I like Tinkerbell and Dwight Schrute. Anna's grandson's costume sounds great, though. If he was in the running, I might have to vote for him.

  7. I love, love, love looking at all the fun costumes from Halloween, and you picked some fun ones. You've been reading my blog, so I know you know I have a serious girl crush on the Marvelous Martha Stewart, so that has to be my fave. A close second for authenticity on the real, has got to be Katy Perry.(lol) I think I saw Hilary in that outfit the other day!!! Thanks for the post. Hugs...

    1. LOL to your girl crush! I love to see her having a sense of humor. You don't always get to see that side of her.

  8. Signed up to post during my Monday Mishmash since that Friday is my cover reveal.

I didn't even recognize Candice Camerson. I really like her costume.

  9. Wow! I don't typically pay attention to celebrity costumes, so I really enjoyed this post. I love #9, #8, and #1. I'm a little shocked to see "christian" Candace Cameron Bure dressed so scandalously. Then again, I don't follow her very close. Maybe her interests lie in fame and attention? I do love Katy Perry's Hillary Clinton though; that's hilarious!

    1. I thought that, too, Mandy! I'm all for that outfit--she looks great! But yeah, it doesn't really fit her image all that well. I just remember her saying something about how a woman's "role" was to be subservient to her husband and I don't really believe in that. Her brother's all about that attitude, too. That sort of thing just gets under my skin.

  10. Katy Perry always kills it.
I follow Paris Hilton on snapchat and she had like 5 costumes...

    1. I hesitated to even put a Kardashian up, but Kylie's was too interesting! I'm not a fan of this whole "celebutante" thing. I think I came from an era where you had to actually DO something to become famous, but I know we're in a different world now.

  11. I favor Tinker Bell, but Katy Perry's is spot on.

  12. I'm with Team Tinkerbell! :)

  13. I loved Candace as Tinkerbell. Jenna Fischer's daughter as Dwight is too funny!

    1. I'm loving this 90s nostalgia right now. It doesn't seem like the 90s was that long ago, but I guess it was!

  15. Martha Stewart didn't dress up this year...:) Katey as Hillary is scary but I do love Tinker Bell and Miss Piggy is hilarious

    1. Haha! Someone above is a huge Martha Stewart fan. I'm not sure if people caught that it was a MAN dressed as Miss Piggy!

  16. Women still love those sexy costumes (well, except for the last by Katy Perry). I remember Halloween always gave me permission to wear those clothes. Loved it.

    1. I've worn a couple of those myself. There were a TON of them among celeb costumes, but they all just blend together. How many "sexy Little Red Robin Hoods" do we need? They all just look bleh. But I felt like Candace Cameron Bure's costume looked unique...like she didn't just get it out of a bag at the costume tent!

  17. I'm surprised Heidi Klum didn't make it to the list. I think Katy Perry is a worthy winner here. :)

But Martha Stewart. Now that's scary.

    1. Heidi won last year. She didn't dress up this year, sadly. Well, not really. She dressed up as herself and then showed up with a bunch of models who were dressed up to look like her, as well. Sort of a, "Which one is the real Heidi?" thing? Which is fun, but not so interesting to put in a top ten!

  18. Mini-Dwight made me smile and Martha gave me a start! Another release, how exciting! Have to check my calendar but I'd love to lend a hand ;-)
