    1. I hope so, too! I got called back to the bookstore to sign more books for online orders, so that's good. But I met a few new bloggers (many from YOUR blog, actually!) and that's the best part of all.

    1. Fingers crossed! You never really know for sure... You see numbers but you don't know what they're supposed to be to be "good." 30 Days, meanwhile, seems to have shot back up, thanks to it being in the Scholastic flyers at schools across the country. That such a wide audience of children are being introduced to it makes me very happy!

    1. I am. Exhausting week, though. Plus, this was the week all my clients came back from the holiday, ready to jump in with both feet, so my freelancing to-do list is ridiculous. But I wouldn't trade any of it for anything else! Except maybe J.K. Rowling's life...

  11. You have done a great job in promoting your book. I hope it goes well and am sorry that my daughter is beyond reading this (after all, she is reading a biography of Nelson Mandela and serious Victorian fiction)

  12. Congrats on your novel and a successful book tour. I remember those days in school when the roses were distributed. There was always a minority of the golden people that got the majority of flowers.

    1. That's how I felt! I think a lot of us bought roses for our friends, though, so we wouldn't feel left out. Ours were carnations, though, because they were cheap. I remember each color had a meaning (friendship, love, etc.) and you bought the color that matched the message you wanted to send.
