  5. Going to check out your interview. Your book looks adorable, and even some adults could use 30 days with no gossip.

  8. You're really doing the whole blog tour thing up right, huh? It can be exhausting, so don't wear yourself out, and I hope promotion works better for you than it did for me. ;)

  9. Lexa, to be honest, I've always been a HUGE proponent of not bombarding your readers with too much marketing, so you won't see much of that from me for much longer! As someone who spends my life ghostwriting blogs telling small businesses how to market their work, I REPEATEDLY have written that they should never use their blog/social media accounts to constantly blast marketing messages. Content is what wins people. If they like the content, they'll click over to see what your product (book) is about! I was advised to do a blog tour before the book came out, but really--the ones like Jaxy's and the other two I'm posting are the ones I'm excited about!

  10. Stephanie, this is off topic, but congrats on your book! When I was a children's librarian, I had a special fondness for Aladdan Mix books. They were sure bets for the younger YA's, and filled the gap between books written for 4th-6th and the older YAs. Again, congrats!

  11. Thank you so much, Cathy! That's so good to hear. I know I used to pick them up because I found the covers (and even the spine) so eye-catching! I'm hoping librarians will see the value in the subject matter, too, since we all tend to gossip more than we'd like to admit in the course of a day!

  12. Being a writer is better than being Elastigirl, though I wish I could do both. I'll be stopping over for the hop. Have a great Sunday!
